RT17 d.o.o. was established in 1992 in Zagreb, Croatia. Over more than three decades, we have evolved into an independent research and technology development company. Today, we provide research and development, engineering, and technology consulting services. Our core business is innovation, with electronics as our primary domain. By combining deep technological expertise with a multidisciplinary approach, we deliver effective solutions even to the most complex challenges.
Our research and development activities span a wide range of technical disciplines, including high voltage electrical engineering, magnetic systems, applied physics and chemistry, biophysics, aerodynamics, and industrial processing technologies. Over the years, we have conducted extensive research in areas such as electrotherapy and innovative electrotherapeutic medical devices, electromagnetic stimulation of seed germination and plant growth, industrial processing of zeolite minerals, and high-concentration ionic silver production. This breadth of knowledge, combined with hands-on prototyping experience and proficiency in CAD, CAE, CFD, and EDA design tools, as well as advanced engineering AI tools, enables us to approach problems from multiple angles and significantly reduce development time. We take the protection of our clients’ confidential data seriously, applying strict compartmentalisation and secure data storage practices throughout the development process.
In addition to our R&D and consulting services, we produce custom-made, fully functional replicas of historical scientific and technological devices for exhibition, education, and research purposes. Our replicas are built with modern materials and production methods while maintaining authenticity at both the technical and aesthetic levels. Notable examples include working replicas of Nikola Tesla’s AC induction motor and Egg of Columbus, as well as reproductions of Bell’s telephone, Volta’s battery, Faraday’s induction apparatus, and Davy’s arc lamp, produced for institutions such as the Nikola Tesla Memorial Centre in Smiljan, the Croatian History Museum and the Technical Museum Nikola Tesla in Zagreb, the Samsung Innovation Museum in Seoul, and the Phänomenta science centre in Lüdenscheid. We also manufacture premium-quality replicas of the Lakhovsky Multiwave Oscillator, built strictly according to the technical specifications of the original BV2 model, as documented through the reverse engineering of original devices discovered in Italy in 2009.
